From Page to Stage

 Learner 'F' began to attend evening classes because she wanted to learn with other people. She thought a short course in writing and producing a play would be enjoyable. The class learned a lot of skills about writing and producing plays. This led to the group putting on a play, written from scratch, at the Shetland County Drama Festival.

Not only did this group of beginners manage to pull this off they won 3 awards. 'F' was immensely proud of her own and the group's achievements.

The class has now formed an independent drama group and hopes to continue what started at the evening class. Next steps are to recruit new members.
