This class will offer tips on self-care, managing stress, and looking after your mental health. The current COVID pandemic makes it particularly important to learn more about how to feel good in yourself, build resilience and develop a positive outlook. There will be a strong emphasis on practical strategies for getting by, and we will consider the benefits of creative activities for health and wellbeing.

About your tutor, Jane Finnie:

"I have many years experience as an Adult Education Tutor and Trainer.  I am a graduate of Edinburgh & Strathclyde Universities. I believe that lifelong learning improves quality of life, encouraging personal growth while providing new interests and opportunities for learners. I have taught a wide range – sociology; health & wellbeing; reminiscence; Youth Work training, creative writing.  I tailor my classes to suit the interests of people there.  I am also qualified and experienced in offering advice about taking new directions and progressing on future paths."
