Weaving with Colour

Ref: 1144

This workshop is for beginner weavers and those who want to explore colour in weaving. It is suitable for anyone with a basic knowledge because we will be looking at how colours interact on the loom and how to blend colours together. We will also look at some techniques for using inspiration material for colouring in cloth projects.

We will be in the studio in Yell where there is plenty of inspiration and lots to see. You are welcome to stay after the workshop to read books or look at the textiles collection.

There are only five places on this session so please book early.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. Please bring lunch with you. A microwave, kettle and hotplate with saucepans is available to use.

There is an additional charge of £5 for materials, payable to the tutor.
