Knit a Pair of Traditional Fair Isle Socks

Ref: 3650

Intermediate level - suitable for anyone who can already knit Fair Isle.

On the first day we will begin by looking at tension and colour placement before starting on knitting the socks.  You will then have two weeks to work on the socks trying to finish them to the heel.  Over the following two weeks we will turn the heel and finish the foot and toe.  The tutor will advise on finishing and dressing/blocking the socks.

The tutor will provide you with a list of materials (wool, knitting needles, etc) to bring to the class.

Lunch is not provided, so bring a packed lunch or money for the cafe.
