Adult Learning Opportunities for Autumn 2021

Adult Learning Opportunities Autumn 2021

Adult Learning Literacy Support Sessions - Tuesdays 10am-11pm, Islesburgh Community Centre
Adult Learning can help build confidence for all your reading, writing and numeracy needs at home and work. If you find yourself struggling with things like form filling, helping your children with their homework, reading instructions or working out how to manage your household budget, come along and we can help you.  It is friendly and confidential.

Digital Support Sessions - Wednesdays 2pm-4pm Islesburgh Community Centre
Connecting with family and friends by phone, tablet and online video has become even more important, and the number of things we have to do online is increasing. Adult Learning offers support for your basic computer, tablet and smartphone technology needs and can help build your skills and confidence.

Makkin and Yakkin - starting Tuesday 26 October, 2pm-3.30pm, Islesburgh Community Centre
At a loose end?  Looking to make new friends?  Come along to our new Makkin an Yakkin Sessions! Beginner or expert, bring your knitting along and create, share and blether in a sociable space.  This is about getting together and helping each other, so is not a teaching session. Please contact Denise on 01595 743888 or email [email protected] if you would like to come to the first session.  We plan to run the sessions on a drop-in basis after that.
