Adult Learning Literacy Support Sessions

Weekly on Tuesday mornings
10am - 1pm
Islesburgh Community Centre, Drama Room

Connecting with friends and family and having to function and carry out tasks has become far more important during the pandemic; it is likely that you have increased the amount of writing you have had to do using social media and emails, have needed to sort bills out or support your children with their writing and maths homework. Adult Learning can support you with your reading and writing and numeracy skills. You may need help with:

  • Writing better e-mails
  • The best way of saying what you want and mean on social media
  • How to start some creative writing
  • How to get back in to reading
  • Sorting out budgets and bills
  • Helping with your child’s reading and writing and numeracy

Adult Learning can help build confidence for all your reading, writing and numeracy needs at home and work.
It is friendly and confidential.  Give us a call or e-mail us to arrange a time to meet up on Tuesday mornings.  Phone Marc Coyne on 01595 743888 or email marccoyne@shetland.gov.uk
