Marc leads on the development and delivery of our digital skills work and is passionate about helping adults develop the skills and confidence to use digital technology to make their everyday lives easier.

Denise works across all areas of Adult Learning, specialising in family and intergenerational learning, and support for adults to develop their communications and everyday life skills.
Denise leads on the development of our adult learning class programme, which provides opportunities for adults to develop their skills and interests in a range of leisure-based classes.

Yvonne works across all areas of Adult Learning, specialising in support for adults to develop their reading, writing, numeracy, digital and everyday life skills such as cooking on a budget.
Yvonne leads on the development of our English for Speakers of other Languages (ESOL) programme, which seeks to help adults develop the language skills and confidence needed to participate fully in the local community.

June is Team Leader for Community Development and manages both the Adult Learning and Community Work teams. June is also the Council’s Lead Officer for the Shetland Community Learning and Development Partnership.
June is responsible for ensuring Adult Learning continues to develop to meet the needs and challenges of adult learners. She is passionate about social justice and equity, and the powerful role lifelong learning can play in helping adults make positive changes in their lives and communities.
