What resources are available to you?
Adult Learning has a range of resources to support you in your work as a tutor
IT resources include:
- A bank of wifi laptops
- A wifi printer
- A projector & screen
- We also have flipcharts and markers
Paper resources include:
- A range of Reference books about Adult Learning theory and practice
- A range of resources to support English for Speakers of Other Languages learning
- Resources to support everyday literacy and numeracy
The old library centre is well equipped with pc's, wifi, printers, an elecontric whiteboard and tea and coffee making facilities.
If you require specific materials or equipment in order to deliver your course let us know. Our policy is that materials for classes should be charged at cost to learners. Sometimes this works best if tutors acquire the resources and negotiate payment with learners. In exceptional circumstances, Adult Learning will acquire resources and charge out to Learners when charging course fees. The information about resources needed to deliver classes should be indicated when you submit your course proposal. Adult Learning staff will discuss this with you to make sure resources are in place to ensure your class runs smoothly.
