ESOL Celebration 2011
Posted: 14th October 2011Another evening of celebration! More than 80 people gathered to mark the achievements of students learning English for speakers of other languages at the Town Hall on 3 October 2011. Professor Gray of Shetland College presented certificates to over 60 learners from Adult Learning and the College.
A highlight of the evening was performances from learners and tutors. These included juggling and songs from Nepal, Morocco, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Hungary. Students, their families and friends shared food from their own countries to complete a very happy evening. See more on the video.
