Welcome!

Adult Learning depends on its sessional and volunteer tutors to share their skills and inspire learners throughout Shetland.   We take your views seriously about how we can improve our support and how we can improve the quality of learners' experience.

Enlarge Image Each year we arrange meetings to discuss how we can improve the programme and we would encourage you to take part in these.  Also please drop along to the Old Library Centre to look at the Adult Learning resources

This website is part of our drive to modernise the way we connect with tutors and learners and to make sure current information is readily available to the public and to tutors.

Please have a look at the 'Quality' section of the Tutor area of the website.  It contains the Quality Improvement Toolkit and links to How Good is our Community Learning and Development which is the Quality Framework for all of our work. 

We will also publish current training opportunities on the website, so do check in every week or two to keep up to date with current activities.
