Concessions

Want to learn a new skill and attend an evening or day class but struggling to afford it? You may be eligible for financial help towards the cost of your course. 

If you are Over 60, Under 18 or if you or your family are in receipt of any of the benefits listed below then you are eligible for a concession. Proof of age or evidence of benefits must be provided to receive a concession.

  • You are in receipt of Carer's Allowance, Disability Living Allowance, Severe Disablement Allowance, Incapacity Benefit, Attendance Allowance, Contributory Employment and Support Allowance or Personal Independence Payment.
  • Your family is in receipt of Working Tax Credit, Income Support, Pension Credit, Housing Benefit, Universal Credit, Income based Job Seeker's Allowance or Income related Employment.
  • The net income of your family is equivalent to, or lower than, the threshold for receiving income support.

Please note -  concessions are only given on course fees, not on venue hire or material costs.
